My 5 year old son always go out with his friends to play, he doesn’t want to stay at home because of boring stuff that he sees. This is my main problem for the past few months when a friend of mine had advise me to buy him a tablet and let him play this very popular game for kids, called Roblox.
My initial impression is that what’s in it that my son would make him decide not to leave the house? at first I was really hesitant so following my friends advise. I installed the game on my iPad mini and download it for free via the App Store. Unknowingly, I was also amazed to see a huge popularity in the app store for this particular game. So upon installation, I tried and give it a try and honestly I was not impress with the graphics at all. But, I’m sure for kids there’s a different perspective and to prove it right. I’ve shown it to my son, and guess what? He really love it! and even asked me if he can keep the ipad at a few more days.
After several days letting him play the game, I have seen he was really into it. He play all the games as the Roblox game is like a library of brick games created by developers. Even yourself if you have good knowledge with programming, you can also create your own game inside Roblox. Their library is consistently updated, and there’s no way you can finish them all in a few days or weeks. That’s the reason many got addicted to this game, the fact that it is open world like GTA you can whatever you want inside the game.
My son being addicted to the game asked if he can purchased some of the in-game stuff, and before giving my permission i did my research and it requires a payment, yes in cash either using debit/credit card or via PayPal. I don’t know the benefit of purchasing these items, that’s why I tried to do my home work first and found out that this are premium items to boost the game and also to purchase extravagant items inside the game to boast with your son’s friends. Luckily I was able to found a website that gives free robux without the need to enter my financial accounts as I’m afraid that my son will be billed more than my credit limit lol.
